How Is a Coach Different From a Counselor?

While a counselor uses his expertise to guide
his clients to their own answers, the
relationship is normally hierarchical,
perhaps even authoritative. This is a major
difference between a coach and a counselor.
In a coaching relationship, the client and
the coach partner to create a better future
for the client.
