Does Having A Success Coach Really Help People Succeed?

Absolutely! And the simplest thing to understand here is that it is up to you to connect what you dream and all that's possible to achieve in the world. You can want anything as you'll see in this case study.

I have come across a mentor who served as a top brass in a multinational bank of Indonesia. Mr Robert Ankasa's definition of success was to be a leading light in his profession and free man who would guide many. Even as an MBA student he had no issues washing toilets so as to afford his fees. That led him to value working for the ends rather than the means. And he transformed into a visionary who is the inspiration for tons of middle class Indonesians and others all over the world.

Ankasa has - through his work as a success coach - personally mentored about 50 families to diamond and above. His asset base is worth several hundred million dollars. And it has all developed over the last decade, of which three years he spent building a network in parallel to a high pressure bank job. And then he was free. For life. Forever. To serve as an instrument of substantial socio-economic change in Indonesia and - by example - in the rest of the world.

Ankasa tells us stories of discipline that the Indonesians are famous for. Jim Dornan makes a special mention of him in his path-breaking book co-authored with the legendary John Maxwell, 'Becoming a person of influence'. Thus, without a coach we can become another failure statistic. And lose the opportunity to really live our dreams.

Coming back to your context, now what will keep you away from working with a success coach to realize your dreams? 3 things: One, not having (or believing) the success coach. Two, not having internal conviction that this is a viable strategy despite its obviousness. Or three, impatience.

While the first can be remedied by locating a success coach, the second is more tricky. It calls for a deliberate movement outside the conventional thought process and you know what doing so brings a person 'out-of-the-box forever! In all walks of life!! So it is definitely worth the effort and chances are this is easier than you think if you stay amongst a peer group of success coaches and audaciously close to your success coach. As for the third barrier, it's a weakness habit and successful people will do best after they break it.

Like all good things success coaching is not a quick-fix solution to issues. But it is generally seen that over a five year span the achievements of a person working with a success coach would far surpass those of one who is not in all walks of life. How is that? Simply due to the coachee's focus on good habits and positive company.

As a success coach I am always open to partner with people. You can engage and work with my practice as a success coach here http://sandeepnath.com/2010/01/success-coach/ . Careful what you want!
