Is there really a demand for life coaching in the UK?

Can you answer Bonobo's question about Coaching?:

I see a lot of expensive courses available that teach you how to be a life coach, but (assuming you are good at it) is there really a paying demand for this service?
I guess these answers speak for themselves…

Have you claimed your Genesis site?

I should think so. It seems to be a popular trend in the States for people to want to "fix" themselves, thus the self-help industry is booming.

You probably would do best to start out small, perhaps with an agency or somone that can help you build up a clientele.

More of an American thing. I dont think many people are earning money as life coaches in the UK.

Life coaches tend to be booked by companies for one day and half day seminars for their staff.

Plenty of courses to train you how to be a life coach– many charging high fees.
