Hypnosis is an altered frame of mind that causes somebody to become more suggestible. Needless to say, this definition of hypnosis leaves it open to more questions than it does answers. This is often why there are several different styles of hypnosis, and this is often why so many completely different hypnotists use totally different hypnosis techniques.
